Colours of the world, Spice up your life! Sink The Pink are to host their biggest party to date at O2 Brixton Academy for London Pride on 7 July.
Tickets go on sale 10am Friday.
The iconic party-force, Sink The Pink, will celebrate London Pride in typically outrageous style with a supersized extravaganza, The Colour Ball, at one of London’s most famous music venues, Brixton Academy. Following their triumphant reign of East London, with lauded takeovers of Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club and sell-out nights at The Troxy, the collective move south of the river for the first time, opening the doors to the iconic South London venue on the night of the biggest LGBT+ event of the year. Register for tickets at www.sinkthepink.co.uk with tickets going on sale Friday 9th March.
Sink The Pink have long cemented their status as the most inclusive and love drenched party community and will only be upping the ante for their Brixton debut. With flamboyantly themed dress codes, ballroom-style pageant, drag queen lip-sync battles, jaw dropping performances and joyfully pop-filled DJ sets amongst an array of the wild and wonderful crowd, it only seems fitting that the collective hold their most exciting party yet to close the city’s Pride celebrations.
The Colour Ball will follow an acclaimed run of themed events confetti cannoned with glitz and kitsch, celebrating the uniqueness of all walks of life and open to revelers new and returning. The Guardian sum it up perfectly: "It's colourful, it's carnivalesque and it's transgressive."
