To coincide with the release of her debut ‘Karate EP’, up-and-coming talent Anne-Marie has announced details of her first UK headline show, which will take place at Hackney’s Oslo on October 21.
The Essex native has proved to be hot property in the blogosphere over recent weeks with her infectious electric pop, silky R&B and sensual vocals on new tracks ‘Gemini’ and ‘Karate’. On her debut EP she has worked with an array of hot talent including Two Inch Punch, Pablo Nouvelle, Chloe Martini, Brad Ellis and Josh Record. The aptly named lead track ‘Karate’ (official video) - Anne-Marie is a three-time world champion in Shotokan style karate - has already made waves at radio with early support from Radio 1’s Annie Mac and Clara Amfo along with 1Xtra’s MistaJam.
Forming part of Rudimental’s live set-up as their lead vocalist over the past couple of years, Anne-Marie has perfected her energetic live performance from taking to The Other Stage at this year’s Glastonbury Festival to the likes of V Festival, LA’s Staple Centre, Ibiza Rocks and many more. With a feature on Rudimental’s infectious new track ‘Rumour Mill feat. Will Heard’, which recently landed at BBC Radio 1Xtra ‘Record of the Week’, Anne-Marie will feature extensively on the Hackney collective’s highly-anticipated second studio album ‘We The Generation’, confirmed for release on September 18.
Now ready to step foot as an artist in her own right, Anne-Marie is currently working on her debut album.
