I didn't go, and probably never will due to the guilt on my mind knowing that I went to Warped Tour. How was Fishbone however?

oh wow, i didn't hear about that guy! i'm glad he's okay!!

i went this year, but i had to work it ... the last time i went was in 2001, back when it wasn't some ridiculous amount of money. not that it's a bad price to see that many bands, but you really have to be into those genres.

The thing sold out on me. I drove down there with a friend and was like "omgwtf, I can't believe it sold out"

I was bummed because Poison the Well was playing as we drove by, and that was the band we went to see. Needless to say, I left instead of paying scalper fees.

The Warped Tour is a touring music and extreme sports festival. The tour is held in venues such as parking lots or fields upon which the stages and other structures are erected. The BMX/skateboarding shoe manufacturer Vans, among others, has sponsored the tour every year since 1995, and it is often referred to as the Vans Warped Tour. The tour started out as a showcase for punk rock music, but its more recent line-ups have featured a diversity of genres.

Warped Tour was created in 1994 by Kevin Lyman, who got the idea while working on skateboarding shows such as the Vision Skate Escape and Holiday Havoc which included music with skateboarding contests. The Warped name comes from the short-lived Warp Magazine, published by Transworld, which covered surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, and music.

Yes, you are right, I totally agree that you should run a search on your own to get the best results. The tour is held in venues such as parking lots or fields upon which the stages and other structures are erected.
